Our Geography curriculum enables children to flourish as global citizens by exploring their place in the world, their values, and their responsibilities to other people, to the environment, and to the sustainability of the planet. We want children to be passionate about Geography and to become Geographers!
Geography is a fascinating and diverse subject, one that we encounter daily all around us. It is a key element of our FRESH curriculum, best explored through outdoor learning and a strong focus on nature. Geography also contributes to creating well-rounded individuals with a wide knowledge of the world.
Pupils are encouraged to articulate their knowledge and views on various geographical issues, including climate change, ocean plastic pollution, and the need to preserve the rainforests. Our students have access to wonderful natural surroundings and a diverse local area, which they regularly use to study a variety of human and physical geography topics. This proximity provides opportunities for honing their fieldwork skills.
Our aim is to nurture a new generation of geographers, equipped with knowledge and a passion for making a positive impact on the world
